Megan has been with the hospital since 2003. You may remember seeing her as a receptionist once upon a time!  She continued her training to become a veterinary assistant, Certified Veterinary Technician, technician supervisor and most recently added abdominal ultrasound sonographer to her skills portfolio.  

Megan graduated from Joliet Junior College’s Veterinary Medical Technology program in 2006 and maintains her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) License through the state of Illinois. She attended the Sound Academy of Veterinary Imaging in 2021 completing the Soft Tissue Imaging Program.  When she’s not imaging patients you will find her triaging our urgent care and emergency patients.  

Megan is excited to provide this advanced imaging technique to our hospital as it improves patient care and offers the option of quicker and easier appointment scheduling outside of the specialty hospital. She loves using her education to improve the lives of patients and their families!  

When Megan is not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her active family including 2 young kiddos and her husband. They love to travel to National Parks and especially Colorado where her brother and his wife reside. They currently have a rescue dog Penny, and a cat, Rexie. Megan lives in Plainfield and takes great pride in providing outstanding service directly in her community.
