Dr. Sarah Sosa

Originally from Lockport, IL, Dr. Sarah Sosa brings a unique background and a deep commitment to veterinary medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Loyola University Chicago in 2019 before transitioning into the veterinary field, where she worked as a support manager at a local clinic for two years. This early experience solidified her passion for animal care and led her to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Lincoln Memorial University, from which she graduated in May 2025.

During her veterinary training, Dr. Sosa completed a rigorous year of clinical rotations at nine hospitals across the country, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of settings. She was also actively involved in the Student American Veterinary Medical Association and plans to continue growing her leadership skills through future involvement with the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Sosa is passionate about lifelong learning and is committed to fostering trust, open communication, and a supportive environment for both pet parents and her veterinary team. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their pets and is always eager to swap stories about favorite local hiking trails.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Sosa loves exploring the outdoors with her two dogs, Jannie and Samy. She also enjoys traveling across the U.S, with 31 states visited, and plans to go to Scotland later this year!
