Michael Taylor earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2020. Prior to Illinois, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio Northern University in 2014 and a Master of Science in biology from Northern Illinois University in 2016.

Dr. Taylor grew up just outside Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Illinois for school in 2014 and is now happily married and a proud Chicagoan. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, working on home projects, and having game nights with friends. When he can get away, he loves to travel in the US and abroad. He is also an avid fan of football, baseball, basketball, and European soccer.

Dr. Taylor’s clinical interests include cardiology, ophthalmology, surgery, and emergency medicine. His mission as a veterinarian is to always be compassionate and caring, to practice medicine of the highest quality, and in all cases, to teach the best practices in pet care so that your pet can live a long and happy life, and the scary emergencies can be prevented whenever they can.
