Dr. John Michael is the managing veterinary partner at Animal Medical Center Plainfield. He has been with the practice since 2007 when he received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. His primary interests as a veterinarian are small animal medicine and surgery, with a special interest in internal medicine and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Michael grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and spends his free time attending sporting events, rooting for the Fighting Illini, Bears, Bulls, and White Sox. Dr. Michael is married to a fellow animal lover and John and Shannon share a home with their son Noah, daughter Layla, son Oliver and Molly their cat.
