Dr. Erjavec grew up in Naperville and attended Southern Illinois University for undergraduate studies with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in chemistry. He attended Ross University school of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has been working at Animal Medical Center of Plainfield since. His interests include soft tissue surgery, endocrine diseases, and dentistry. Dr. Erjavec believes one of the most important aspects of practicing veterinary medicine is informative and clear communication with patients’ owners. Giving pet parents as much information and understanding as possible to help them make informed medical decisions. This empowers them to provide the kind of care that they know their pet deserves. 

Dr. Erjavec lives in Plainfield with his wife and three children. He has two dogs, two cats, and two mice. In his spare time, he enjoys taking trips to the Wisconsin Dells, hiking, and camping with his family.
