Amanda joined Animal Medical Center of Plainfield – Emergency night hospital, known as, CARE Animal Emergency Services, July 5th 2022 as the Hospital Manager. She continued her service with the hospital and on April 1st 2023 became the Hospital Manager for Animal Care Center of Plainfield as well as maintaining her role with the overnight CARE hospital.   

Amanda is from Illinois but since 2009 has been traveling and living in different states with her husband and 3 kids. Her husband is a US Marine and his job takes them coast to coast every few years. While moving around she has managed General Practice Hospitals, Emergency Hospitals, and overseen company transition teams. Recently they have chosen to return to Illinois while her husband finishes out his duties, to be closer to family and put down grounding roots. Their family of 5 humans also includes numerous furry and scaly family members, from reptiles, to three cats, and 2 dogs.   

Amanda has been managing in the animal industry since 2012, from animal behavior companies to pet stores, then finally joining the veterinary field. She has a Certification in Animal Behavior from Animal Behavioral College, an associate degree in animal science from Penn Foster, BS Business Administration – Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University and gained her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in May 2022.  

On top of her professional accomplishments, she is a long-time animal foster for all species, and canine behavioral evaluator. Her hobbies include reading, novel writing and hanging out with her family and having movie nights. She strives to be a leader in her personal and professional life.
